ColorSynths are sold either fully assembled or as DIY kits.

The kits require soldering components to a 2″x2″ PCB, and assembling the wood box and acrylic dome using glue. You can also order a barebones kit that does not include the box or globe.

After the glue dries you can trim it away to make the edges look neat. Also consider painting or staining the wood, sanding it, and other cosmetic changes to make your ColorSynth unique!
